The location of the guesthouse is very convenient, as it is just a short walk from the beach. It is also close to the local Tsunami museum, providing easy access to learn about the history of the area. the owners of the guesthouse are extremely friendly and hospitable, making guests feel at home. They even invite guests to join them for meals and provide fresh coconuts and mangos from their garden.

The interior of the rooms may appear slightly dated, but this is a minor issue compared to the overall positive experience at the guesthouse.

I had a lovely stay, with location to an amazing restaurant. Loved that it included climate control, a seating area and a work desk...

Stayed in an older room that had everything needed - AC, small fridge, and a porch. The garden was like paradise, with fruit trees, peacocks, and owls. The owner's son even took me snorkeling twice. The property is next to the railway, but it wasn't a problem. People return here year after year for months at a time. The passing trains and mosquitos didn't bother me. I regret not photographing the birds in the garden.

I had the most incredible experience at 4 Seasons Guesthouse in Sri Lanka. the owners and their son, Bodhi, were incredibly kind and attentive. They even took me snorkeling at the Hikkaduwa reef for free! the room I stayed in was basic but had everything I needed, including a small fridge and air conditioning. the garden at the guesthouse was like a miniature Eden, with fruit trees, peacocks, and countless fireflies at night. the location was perfect, just a minute's walk from the beach and restaurants. it was a wonderful stay and I can't wait to return.

Perfect location, 1 min walk from the beach. Beautiful gardens. Incredibly welcoming hosts, even took us snorkeling. Clean, airy rooms with working AC. Fascinating fireflies at night. Would definitely stay again.

I had a fantastic stay at 4 Seasons Guesthouse! The family who runs the place is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even took me on a snorkeling trip and fed turtles without any extra charge. The gardens are beautiful, filled with colorful flowers and the sound of birds. Plus, the location is convenient, with the market and swimming area just a short walk away. I highly recommend this guesthouse for a wonderful experience in Hikkaduwa.

Lovely gardens, amazing snorkeling trips, warm-hearted and friendly family, delicious breakfast with homemade jam, provided kettle for tea, clean rooms with towels and AC.
